This was Xander's Christmas gift to Cana this year....

4 Month Checkup

At Xander's 4 month check up last week he came in just as big as he has been.  He weighs 18lbs 4oz (95th percentile) and is 26.25 inches long (89th percentile).  I guess he has a small head though because that came in around the 24th percentile.

So there's not much new with Xander.  He's working on rolling over and talking every day and he's just about over his cold too, which is great for me.  He's sleeping about 6-7 hours at a time at night which gives me a great break.  Next week, we have his 4 month check up so I'll post his current stats at that time.

3 Months Old

My big man is 3 months old today.  We went to Picture People and had his pictures done today.  Here are my favorites.

2 Month Check Up

Xander just had his 2 month check up yesterday.  Here are the stats:

14lbs 12oz (97th percentile)
23 3/4in  (79th percentile)

He got 3 shots and one oral vaccine, and I am glad to say that his only reaction (other than crying at the time of the injections) was a low fever that didn't even last an hour. yay!

My little man is just over a month old now and thriving.  You can kind of tell by this picture we had done last week, but Xander definitely likes to eat.  i'm surprised he's putting on as much weight as he is, considering he solely nurses (no formula).

I found this cute little basketball outfit that I had from when Connor was a baby and put it on Xander the other day.  Connor decided he wanted to match Xander, so he put on his own basketball outfit.

First Bath

Xander's umbilical cord fell off yesterday so we were able to give him his first bath last night.  He liked it at first, but quickly got tired of it.  After getting him all dried up and fed, he slept wonderfully for the next 4 hours. 

First Week

We made it through our first week home!  Xander is such a content baby.  When he's awake, he's completely silent...unless of course he's hungry, then he makes it known.   He doesn't quite have is night time schedule accurate yet, but we're working on it.  He's eating well and is already back up to his 8lb birth weight.

Finally Here

After anxiously waiting his arrival, Xander officially joined our family on Friday, August 12th.  Here are some pictures from the big arrival.

3D Sonograms

We went and had these 3D Sonograms done today.  I'm about 33 weeks, but the ultrasound tech said that based on Xander's measurements, his due date would be August 11th.
